今日は編曲が音楽にとっていかに重要であるかについての考察。
せっかく良いメロディーを思い付いても、それをどのように表現するかで音楽は凄く変わりますよね。メインとなるメロディー（テーマ）を思い付いた時にどんな演奏にするかイメージできれば完成した音楽もかっこ良くなるように思います。ところが、あれもこれもかっこ良く決まると思ってしまう瞬間もあるでしょう。今回は前回貼った音楽（もう一度チェックしてみて下さい）のクラシカルな部分のアルペジオを違う編曲で表現したらどうなるのかなっていうちょっと面白い実験をしてみました。これを試している最中に異なる編曲のおかげで前回のソロとは異なるメロディーが浮かんだので途中からはそれを弾いてみました。つまり、編曲次第で曲に関するアイディアの浮かび方も異なってくるのでしょう。是非、是非今回の演奏（短いです）と前回の演奏（長いです）のソロを聞き比べて、編曲の面白さも実感して頂きたいと思います。この演奏ではギター以外はストリングス系の音で、「ウラメロ」や「カウンターポイント」（オブリガート）ばかりの演奏ですので、クラシカルなアルペジオをギターで弾いた際、リズムに苦労しました。空きトラックにリズムを録音してギターを録音した後でリズムトラックを消去すれば良かった。・・・ほらね？いつも録音した後になって不満が湧いてくる。ビール飲んで寝ようっと。（未成年の方はジュースか牛乳でお願いします。）う〜ん、なんて健全なロックミュージシャンなんだろう。
ところで、このブログにアクセスして下さる方の中でイングヴェイのセッティングについて知りたい方が多いようですので、少しだけ本当の「秘密」を教えてしまいましょう。彼がローランドのDC-10を使い続けている訳。雑誌やウエブなどで彼のセッティングを紹介しているものって結構ありますが、エフェクターのセッティングについては真実を伝えているものに出会っていません。彼はまずオーバードライブの前にDC-10を接続しているのです。普通空間系のエフェクターは後に繋ぐ事はご承知のとおりですが、彼の場合は逆です。なぜなら、DC-10で入力と出力のゲインをコントロールしているのです。彼が使っているディマジオのピックアップは比較的出力が小さいですがこの接続方法なら関係なくなってしまいます。お決まりの演出にも活躍しているDC-10ですが彼がこれを使い続けている本当の意味はここにあったんです（貼付の写真は例です）。自分の目で彼のステージセッティングをステージ上で見た（バックステージに入る機会があった）ので間違いないです。で、雑誌の写真等をよ〜く、よ〜く、見ると1984年以降いまだにその方法です。試してみては？
The consideration that how arrangement is important for music today. The music are really different by arrangement even if you compose a good melody with much effort. I think that the finished music becomes cool if I can image what kind of arrangement I make it when I composed a melody (a theme). However, we have time to be troubled about a method of the arrangement. I did a unique experiment to express the arpeggio of a classical part of the last music (check it out once again) in different arrangement this time. (You will find the classical arpeggio on the solo part of my latest blog.) When I tried this, a new melody came to me by this arrangement. The latter half of this music is the new melody. In other words the ideas about the music are different by arrangement, too. Please compare the solo of the last performance (long) with this performance (short). And please realize fun of the arrangement. I had a hard time in rhythm, when I played the classical arpeggio with a guitar (because background was a sound of strings performance, and it was "root", "counter point" and "obligato"). [ After that I found another method. I should have rhythm in other truck. after I recorded my guitar then I should have deleted a rhythm truck. ] At any rate. I understand failure after having always taped it. I drink beer and sleep. ha ha ha....... （The person of the minority is juice or milk.） What a intelligent rock musician am I!
By the way, there seems to be much one that wants to know setting of Yngwie Malmsteen among people accessing this blog. I teach a slightly true "secret". The reason why he continues using DC -10 of Roland for. Many magazines or Web introduce his setting. However, I did not watch the thing which conveyed the truth about the setting of the effector. He connects DC -10 before OverDrive. As you know, the effector of "ambient" will connect it after generally, but is reverse in the case of him. Because he control input and a gain of the output with DC -10. The pickup of Dimarzio has a small output, but this connection method can control a gain to the OverDrive freely. It is DC -10 playing an active part for tricky sound effects, but there is the true reason why he continues using this. I'm sure, because I saw his setting on the stage (there was an opportunity to enter the backstage). Please check some magazine or photo of his setting. (Attached photo is an example.) You can confirm my explanation by them. He have not changed this point on his setting from 1984. Try if you want.
